People of Hope Traveling Museum
Vermont Catholic Charities, Inc. is joining Catholic Charities agencies across the United States to host People of Hope: Faith-Filled Stories of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a nationwide storytelling museum designed to amplify the profound impact of Christian service. The museum shares professionally produced, first-person stories from Catholic Charities staff and volunteers across the country, highlighting meaningful encounters with individuals and families in need. Visitors can also explore interactive poverty-simulation experiences; U.S. and state-level poverty data visualizations; recordings of book excerpts about poverty, social isolation, bridgebuilding and community action; and a recording booth where they can share their own stories of hope.
Vermont Catholic Charities will host the People of Hope Museum from April 28-29. The museum will be located at St. Michael’s College in the Tarrant Recreation Center parking lot and will be free and open to the public between the hours of 10am – 6pm.
