The Vermont Convention Bureau markets Vermont as a premier meetings and events destination and drives tourism to member businesses.

2017 was defined by the meetings industry continuing to collaborate and working together to strengthen and unite our industry, resulting in another year of growth for the economy. Gains were seen throughout the year as the VCB welcomed more visitors and attendees than the previous year.

The VCB markets Vermont’s many gorgeous and unique venues to out-of-state meeting planners.

The VCB’s rebranding “MEET VT” launched in 2017 and influenced 79,455 overnight trips, ultimately contributing more than $28,600,684.00 in economic impact.

Managing the brand of their destination, creating awareness and excitement, and growing the meetings industry economy through marketing are core components of the Vermont Convention Bureau’s mission. Advertising, content marketing, social and public relations outreach all work together to influence their audience and create a solid foundation for marketing efforts and the success of sale’s programs.

The VCB’s 2018 sales and marketing strategies are designed to help continue to book more business into Vermont. It is the goal of the VCB to continue and grow the meetings market, in turn helping to grow our local economy.

Did you know that the VCB sales professionals help drive more than 1 in 5 group room nights in our community each year?
