Vermont Ballet Theater is back LIVE performing their luxurious full-length production of The Nutcracker ballet! Experience the magic of this time-honored holiday tradition, performed exclusively at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington.

All ages will be enthralled with VBT’s Nutcracker, from the spectacular start to the resounding conclusion, with VBT company director Alexander Nagiba’s stellar choreography set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score and performed by extraordinary dancers from VBTS and the local community. We are very excited to be joined once again by our Cavalier Samuel Wilson. Sam has been our special guest artists in years’ past and we are happy to welcome him back to Vermont’s Own Nutcracker once again!

Follow the delightful adventures of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they conquer the evil Mouse King and travel on a mystical journey to The Land of Sweets where the enchanting Sugarplum Fairy reigns. Mice filching Christmas gifts, snowflakes swirling in dreamy white tutus, dolls spinning like tops, a fantasy world of dancers—from a Christmas tree that grows bigger than ever, towering over Clara and the mysterious Herr Drosselmeyer, to the captivating ballerinas, VBT’s Nutcracker will thrill one and all.
