The Green New Deal: Economic Implications on US-German Relations

The Vermont Council on World Affairs will be hosting Dr. Claudia Kemfert in Burlington this September 4th at ECHO where she will give a lecture on the nexus of economics, energy, and the environment – with a focus on the economic cost of climate change, future energy security, and the economic opportunities presented by an intelligent energy change. Dr. Kemfert is an economics expert in the fields of energy research and climate protection and has been awarded multiple times for her research work.

The lecture will run from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm followed by a wine and cheese reception until 8:30 pm.
