NAMI Smarts Advocacy Training: January 6 & 8

January 6 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Everyone has a story to tell. Why not use yours to help others?

This January, join NAMI Vermont’s Smarts for Advocacy training! This free, virtual, hands-on workshop will help you develop your advocacy skills to make an impact with local, state, and federal policymakers. Whether you’re brand new to advocacy or an experienced advocate with years of phone calls and meetings under your belt, NAMI Smarts has something for everyone. All are welcome! Learn side by side with others working toward the same goal: sharing their mental health stories to raise awareness and improve mental healthcare for all Vermonters.

We will be offering a NAMI Smarts Advocacy training session on January 6 and 8, 2026. The session will be held virtually via Zoom, allowing advocates from across the state to participate. During this training, we will cover Module 1 (Telling Your Story) and Module 2 (Policy Making 101) from 5:30 to 7:30 on both days.

Be sure to register today and save your spot at: www.namivt.org/smarts. We hope to see you there!
