An Evening on The State of Housing in Vermont

February 18 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$15.00

The Vermont Bar Foundation, in partnership with the Central Vermont American Inns of Court, invites attorneys and members of the legal community to an evening CLE focused on the state of housing in Vermont.

The program will begin with a presentation by Alex Farrell, Vermont Commissioner on Housing, who will provide an overview of Vermont’s current housing landscape.

Following the presentation, a panel discussion will explore housing issues from multiple legal and policy perspectives. The panel will be moderated by Maura Collins, Executive Director of the Vermont Housing Finance Agency, and will feature:

Miro Weinberger, Executive Chair, Let’s Build Homes
Tim Sampson, Director, DRM
Rachel Batterson, Director, Housing Discrimination Law Project
Deanna Hartog, Vermont Poverty Law Fellow

Panelists will share perspectives from private practice, legal aid, and policy advocacy, offering insight into how housing issues intersect with the legal system and impact Vermonters statewide.

Attorneys may receive 1.5 CLE credits for attending this program. This CLE is designed to inform and engage practitioners on the evolving housing crisis, highlight the role of the legal community in addressing housing instability, and provide time for networking and informal conversation.
