Achieving Health Equity: A Conversation About Cancer Care in the Green Mountains

On November 13th, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) will host our 1st annual forum in Vermont to examine rurality’s impact on access to care, disparities in cancer screening and tobacco disparities. To save more lives from cancer, we must strengthen our commitment to health equity and increase our understanding of the social determinants that drive disparities in the cancer burden. Forum participants will include key oncology stakeholders including leaders in science, health care systems, academia, business, patient advocacy and public policy.
