Each business or organization that receives a nomination (self-nominations encouraged!) will enjoy the following promotional benefits:

The deadline for nominations is February 21, 2025.
Nominees are not judged on the number of nominations received and we kindly request that organizations not seek multiple nominations.
Business of the Year Award
The LCC Business of the Year Award honors a business that has demonstrated growth in its employment, production, and operations and has a substantial history of success. It has a positive social and economic impact on the Lake Champlain region. The recipient must have shown outstanding growth, significant achievements in innovation, and superior community involvement through the commitment of time and resources. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.
Non-Profit of the Year Award
The LCC Non-Profit of the Year Award is presented to a non-profit organization that has contributed time, skills, and resources to enhance the quality of life of the Lake Champlain region. Non-profits are encouraged to self-nominate.
New Business of the Year Award
The New Business of the Year Award honors a new business that opened its doors within the last three years that demonstrates growth, job creation, and ingenuity. Preference is given to businesses that have been accelerated by LaunchVT. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.
Emerging Leader Award
The Emerging Leader Award recognizes individuals who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, demonstrate a strong commitment to our community, and serve as role models for others in the business community. They must live and/or work in the Lake Champlain region. This award is given to employees/owners of LCC member businesses and preference is given to graduates of Leadership Champlain. Individuals are encouraged to self-nominate.
