The Lake Champlain Chamber develops our region’s future leaders.
Our workforce development team directs initiatives that educate, connect, and inspire our future workforce. We develop local talent to provide our community members with the resources they need to succeed while ensuring our local businesses have a highly talented workforce. Our programming spans the continuum from high school students to senior executives and we make it a priority to make this programming available to all Vermonters.
Our workforce development continuum:
TIPS

TIPS (Training Interns & Partnering for Success) provides youth with an opportunity to learn pre-employment skills, participate in an internship with a local business, earn high school credit, and potentially gain paid employment. The goals of the program are to enable students to identify their own interests, make the connection to a potential career field, and learn more about themselves in a real work environment.

As a leading voice for our community’s young professionals, BYP collaborates with local businesses that share its commitment to attracting and retaining young professional talent and empowers young professionals with all business relationships, education and community awareness necessary to become an active community leader.
