The Power of Connection: Impacts of Relationships on Mental Health
May 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeThis Mental Health Awareness Month, join NAMI Vermont for a Community Conversation on mental health!
Relationships can be a powerful source of connection. Everyone experiences highs and lows, but when the lows become persistent, they can develop into a mental health condition. In times of difficulty, we often turn to friends, family, loved ones, co-workers, or others in our community for support. We all have mental health, and we all have a story to share about connection.
Let’s talk about the power of connection and how relationships impact mental health at our upcoming Community Conversation on May 21 at Winooski High School Library from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Our expert panelists from partner organizations, including MENTOR Vermont and Vermont Afterschool, will share their professional and personal insights on the importance of strong relationships – especially between youth and adults – and how they contribute to individuals’ and communities’ mental health and wellbeing.
Enjoy an interactive Q&A segment, free mental health resources, light refreshments, and the chance to connect with others who care about mental health!
