TalentBTV is the Lake Champlain Chamber's talent attraction and retention initiative. We help Northwest Vermont employers compete for talent, support newcomers as they settle into the region, and create the conditions that make Vermont a place people choose to build their careers and lives. Strong workforce growth depends on a strong quality of life. We work alongside regional partners to keep both moving in the right direction.
Talent Attraction Strategy
Welcoming new Vermonters to our region is crucial for economic development. It helps fill critical skill shortages, accelerates innovation and builds our tax base allowing our community to thrive.
Engaging regional partners, we are developing and delivering a holistic talent attraction strategy for Northwest Vermont. Building on current initiatives and community feedback, our approach is additive to what’s already happening in our region.
Relocation Services
In partnership with the State of Vermont, we offer concierge services to persons interested in relocating to our region. Through our destination marketing initiative, Hello Burlington, our relocation resources are available at HelloBurlingtonVT.com. We’re always looking for employers and individuals to engage in this work.
Talent Retention
Attracting new talent is imperative. Retaining our existing talent is even more important. We ensure this dynamic region continues to be home to a talented workforce sought after by growing employers. Programs like Burlington Young Professionals and Leadership Champlain, along with networking opportunities and professional development resources, help your employees build a long-term future here.
