Established in 2010 by the Lake Champlain Chamber, Burlington Young Professionals (BYP) attracts and retains young professional talent in Northwest Vermont.
Recognizing that Vermont's economic future hinges on its emerging workforce, BYP eliminates barriers to entry with free and low-cost opportunities to connect. Our programming is designed for professionals aged 20–40, but we welcome anyone who wants to engage with and support our growing community.

BYP Meet Ups are made for genuine connection at some of Greater Burlington's favorite local businesses. No agendas, no formal presentations — just a casual, fun way to grow your network and your community.
BYP Learns events focus on professional growth through workshops, seminars, and conversations with local experts, coaches, and community leaders. Topics are tailored to the interests and needs of young professionals to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
BYP is managed by the Lake Champlain Chamber and guided by a motivated Advisory Board of local young professionals. This team helps develop and implement the networking, professional development, and community-building opportunities that define our program.
