Enjoy hay rides\, Touch-a-Truck (featuring race cars and the Vermont National Guard)\, over 40 craft fair and farmers market booths\, musical performances\, and shows by Alyx the Magician. Star 92.9 and 95 Triple X will be broadcasting live. Check out the vendor booths to sign up for raffles and pick up some freebies. Take part in the Explorer’s Challenge for families and be sure to visit town shops\, restaurants\, and businesses for discounts\, offers\, and activities from Sept. 21 to Oct.5.

Essex is where it all comes together! \nNEW THIS YEAR!\nPassport Week\nFestival goers will appreciate a week-long passport event as they explore the many parks\, businesses\, and historical spots in Essex. Businesses\, stores\, and restaurants will hold up pop-events\, demonstrations\, provide samples\, and advertise specials during the week. Nonprofit organizations may hold fundraisers and special engagements to promote their work in Essex and become an official “passport stop”. \nCommunity Day\nThe week will be topped off with a day of community-focused events held at Foster Road Park. For rain\, events will be held indoors at the Essex Middle School. There will be music\, special kid-themed fun\, food\, and drawings for the Giveaway Exploraganza.
