LCRCC Presents: The Merry Mixer Recap

On December 6 the Lake Champlain Chamber and KeyBank hosted their annual holiday party.

The Merry Mixer kicked off the holiday season in style. Attendees were welcomed into KeyBank’s grand, festively decorated foyer, where carolers from Kurn Hattin Homes for Children were ready to serenade. BEVO Catering provided delightful appetizers, including carving stations and, thanks to a partnership with Farrell Distributing, a cupcake and vanilla porter pairing table.

Those wanting to take home a souvenir were in luck because Top Hat Entertainment not only DJed but set up a photobooth.

In the spirit of giving, donations were collected for Spectrum Youth and Family Services. Those who brought in warm winter gear or purchased a DetailWorks gift card at the event were entered into a raffle for a night stay at Hotel Vermont. Don Baker, KeyBank president, also presented Kurn Hattin Homes for Children with a check for $1,000.

An award was also given out to the “Most Merry”. This year, Jessie Swetel from Vermont Awards & Engraving with her very festive ensemble took home the award and a giftcard to Leunig’s Bistro.
