DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the only event of its kind in the country\, where backyard fun rises to Big League impact and lives are changed forever!\nEvery summer\, SLAMT1D’s Summer Classic at Little Fenway brings WIFFLE Ball to legendary status! That’s right —WIFFLE Ball! America’s favorite backyard game\, reimagined with Big League energy\, loads of fans and giant hearts that fuel the magic.\nEach August\, over 350 players and 2\,000 fans make their way to the world famous Little Fenway complex in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. For three unforgettable days of swings\, smiles\, and serious heart people of all ages and walks of life come together for fun competition and to make a real difference in the lives of people living with T1D (type 1 diabetes).\nSLAMT1D is a nonprofit organization our focus is on making a difference in the lives of children\, teens and adults with T1D in the “here and now.” We provide camperships\, sports camperships\, scholarships\, emergency “crisis” grants to families dealing with a catastrophic event\, support school nurses\, athletic trainers and coaches\, do awareness games\, and loads more throughout New England and the rest of the country. We’re all about helping T1Ders live life in full today.
