Webinar – Common Good VT: Development During Pandemic – A Conversation with VT Nonprofits

How are Vermont’s nonprofits moving forward with development and fundraising during the current crisis? Join us for a panel discussion with three of Vermont’s nonprofit leaders to learn about their strategies for providing services, communications, and donor relations during the pandemic.

Facilitator: Jenn Hayslett, Jenn Hayslett Coaching and Consulting – Jenn Hayslett is the lead trainer and creator of the Fundraising and Development Certificate Program, available through Common Good Vermont in 2021. She also serves on Common Good Vermont’s Advisory Council.

Montshire Museum of Science – Marcos Stafne PhD, Executive Director. As a researcher/writer he explores what makes people feel confident, keeps them curious, and adaptable to change. Marcos has worked in educational programming and administration for museums including the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Rubin Museum of Art, the New York Hall of Science, and the Orlando Science Center.

Northeast Kingdom Collaborative – Katherine Sims, Director. Through the NEK Collaborative, Katherine brings together partners to advance economic development in communities. She was also the founder and Executive Director of Green Mountain Farm-to-School, and worked as a consultant to nonprofits on fundraising plans, leadership development, and succession planning.

NOFA-VT – Erin Buckwalter, Development and Engagement Director. Erin joined NOFA-VT’s team in 2011, overseeing NOFA-VT’s direct marketing and community food security programs. She is also a part of NOFA-VT’s Farm to Institution programs team. She has been working and volunteering in a variety of capacities on food systems and sustainable agriculture issues in Vermont since 2005.
